Seham Afifi has more than 30 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in Egypt, KSA, and Canada. She has a passion for helping others, and you will always be treated like family when working with Seham. She obtained her Doctorate of Physiotherapy in 2018 as she feels that continuing education is crucial in order to stay in touch with the most current practices, research, and techniques to best provide treatment for her patients. Seham has a special interest for musculoskeletal conditions including post-operative rehabilitation, MVA, Stroke, and TMJ pain. She is also registered with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario for chronic wound management, spinal mobilization and acupuncture. Seham has extensive training on Laser, ONDAMED, Shockwave and Manual therapy. To further improve her skills, Seham is currently studying to be a certified therapist for Schroth method to treat spinal deformities.

Jennifer is a certified Ondamed practitioner, currently pursuing a designation in Holistic Nutrition.

Jennifer has always had a curious mind and a love for medicine. Her healing journey began in veterinary medicine as an R.V.T, but she shifted focus after a long battle with chronic illness led her to discover a passion for holistic and functional medicine.

She is excited to be working with this dynamic team of health professionals and is looking forward to introducing Ondamed therapy to the community of Peterborough.

Mikayla is a new RMT who is committed to client centered care and creating a safe, welcoming space where clients feel supported through their wellness journey. Mikayla has a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, anatomy, and home care, developed through hands on practice in clinic setting placements. She is passionate about using best practices to restore movement, deliver injury rehabilitation and prevention, and cultivate greater over-all wellbeing through her treatments. Whether working with clients seeking relaxation, or addressing specific therapeutic goals, her focus is providing effective, compassionate care that fosters long term health benefits. Roya has been formally teaching yoga for two years, one year in Toronto and the second internationally in Peru, India, Vietnam, Spain and Panama. With 8 years experience as professional Pharmacist in Canada, her approach to yoga is geared towards personalized yoga plans for therapeutic needs. She has worked in Ayurvedic centres in India designing yoga therapy protocols for patients based on their mind-body composition (dosha), imbalances, medical history, and level of experience with yoga practice.

In addition to dedicating the whole of 2025 to yoga practice and skills, she is currently studying to become a professional yoga therapist (C-IAYT) through the teachings of Sri Krishnamacharya and medical doctor Ganesh Mohan. Roya has been powerlifting and strength training for over 5 years and brings functional fitness into her consultations, so that your yoga is transferable to improved functional capacity off the mat, enhanced vitality, and greater resilience.

Lastly, with a personal history of domestic abuse and chaotic childhood, Roya’s approach is trauma informed and aims to empower individuals to reclaim their health from within. As such, Roya’s sessions generally incorporates yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation, for a holistic yoga practice that is rooted in tradition and supported by scientific literature.
